Lisa's Peanut Butter Cookies
Preheat at 350º
Combine
- 1 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tsps vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cup flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda

Lisa's Peanut Butter Cookies
Preheat at 350º
Combine

Yield: 13”x9” pan
1 lb spicy Italian sausage (cash and carry)
2 cups cream
3 cups potatoes, peeled, cubed (2 ½ lb)
6 cups chicken broth
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 t oregano
pinch red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper
2 c Kale, more or less depending on preference
Brown the sausage and onions in a soup pot.
Add everything else but the kale, bring to a boil and then simmer until the potatoes are no longer crunchy.
Add kale, simmer tenish more minutes.

½ cup butter (1 stick)
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. ammonium carbonate
½ tsp. vanilla*
¾ tsp. almond flavoring*
*flavoring can be altered to your own taste
Directions:
Beat butter, oil and sugar until light and "fluffy". Mix flour with ammonium carbonate in a separate bowl. Then gradually add this to butter mix and beat until smooth. Lastly add flavorings.
Form dough into small balls (size of a marble) and bake at 350º for 8 - 10 minutes, but keep watching as they bake quickly.

Combine and press firmly into a 13"x9" pan.:
Spead remaining 4 oz. Coolwhip on top, garnish with grated chocolate and/or nuts, if desired.
Berry Balsamic Salad with Candied Pecans

Toss together spring salad mix, sliced strawberries and blackberries. Add some Feta cheese for garnish (as much or little as you like).
*Candied pecans:
In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together chopped pecans and sugar.
Stir constantly for a few minutes until the sugar has caramelized and all of the pecans are coated.
Spread the coated pecans on a piece of foil or wax paper to cool.
After they are completely cool, break into pieces if they get clumped together. Add cooled pecans to salad and toss.
