Almond Tea Cake

Mix:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
Add:
  • 4-5 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 cups flour
Pour into a greased 13"x9" pan.
Sprinkle with:
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds 
  • 1/4 cup sugar (opt.)
Bake at 350˚ for 20-25 minutes.
Do not overbake!
